About Us

Allen Trading Company was established by Bill Allen in 1972. The company offices and warehouse are situated in Gisborne and as of April 2008 the business has been owned and operated by Michael Allen.

The primary business of Allen Trading Company is the import and distribution of children's toys, gifts, dress-ups and novelty items. These products are sourced from a range of suppliers based in the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and countries on the Asian continent.

Allen Trading Company prides itself on the price, quality and range of their products. The success of the company is attributed to the diversity of the product range and the ability of the Allen Trading Company team to meet the needs of their customers.

Allen Trading Company has a sales team made up of three full time sales representatives and a sales agent. The large sales team enables representatives to visit each of their customers on a five weekly cycle. Customers can expect to receive orders within three days of placing an order.
